Even though the new versions of Photoshop have a "import as stack feature" it inverts the layer order and does some other things I'm not crazy about...
Importing all the images in a content set is an integral part of my production process, it allows you to create single adjustment layers that modify all of the images in a set. You can also apply watermarks to all of the images from single layers.
I'll go into this in more detail in the members section soon - for now try out this free script I use it all the time.
